Traveling with Take Tour, Day 1

Day 1 of Take Tours- L.A to Utah.
8-Day Yellowstone National Park, Mt. Rushmore, Arches National Park, Grand Canyon West Tour Package from Los Angeles/Las Vegas
Above is the tour I went on and the places I went to (not in order).
Lets start with that I didn't book this tour, my friend Faith chose & booked this one and initially we knew it was a Chinese based company, but the price was so amazing so we weren't fussed. So when we got ready to leave L.A & travel to Richfield Utah, it turned out that we were the only British people on the trip, which ultimately we found hilarious, the looks we got given when out with everyone was even funnier!! Luckily a lot of the people on the tour spoke english, and we met a lot of nice people especially this little boy, which we don't know the name of because as his father said "we haven't given him an english name yet" so he was just cute boy in our book.
At first it was a bit strange cause they always wanted to take pictures with us, which is nice but it was like all the time! We settled in easily and made really good friends with the two bus drivers we had, mainly the second one because he had a frisby, which later became our daily work out!

I have kind of gone off topic, anywho, we left our hotel at like 7am in the morning to then travel to Las Vegas which was around a 4 hour drive. When we got to Las Vegas we got on to a different bus, because there were a lot of people doing different tours. Once everyone was with the correct people we drove from Las Vegas to Richfield Utah which was I think another four hour drive which included stopping off a lot, we finally got into Utah at like 9pm , where we then got told that we had to get up the next morning at like 5am which we were dreading, as soon as we got in we got ready for bed and wacked on The Breakfast Club.

This was a rather boring post, but tomorrow hopefully I shall be putting up a post and pictures about my day at Arches National Park.

Ciao.

Artsy Day in San Diego

28th April, Day 3 of American Adventure
On the 28th April, we ventured out of L.A and took a bus down to San Diego. We went to San Diego with no plan at all which wasn't really the smartest idea, because we got in and had no idea where to go and what to do. We finally decided to go get a coffee from Starbucks and plan from there, also there are a butt load of Starbucks like everywhere in America, its weird but wonderful at the same time (I love me some coffee).
Anywho, after having at look at 'things to do in San Diego' we decided to walk from Starbucks to Balboa Park.
On Google Maps it said it was like a ten minute walk which we thought was easy even in the heat, which at this point was already like high 20's and getting hotter, in the end it was a lot longer than 10 minuets and there was a hill.

By the time we got there, we didn't really know what we were going to be doing, so we started off by going to the Botanical Building because at least it was cooler in there. We got there by getting on some tram thing that was really cool and meant less walking. Then we walked around for a while looking at all the really nice buildings. Then as luck would have it we went into some art museum and there was a Dr. Suess exhibition which I thought was the most amazing thing ever as I love Dr. Suess. I don't care how old I get I will always love shit like that, we even got to colour in our own Cat in the Hat hats, which took place on a really small children's table but we didn't care it was funny. I had to educate my friend Faith though because she had never watched any movie that was done from a Dr.Seuss book:o

If I remember correctly after Dr.Seuss heaven, we finished looking round Balboa Park and went to get some food, after that we went back towards Starbucks and went to a supermarket to get dinner for later because we had an early the next day as we would be going on our first 8 day tour around the west part of America.
I haven't yet decided how I'm gonna go about talking about the tours so I'm just gonna wing it.
I've put a few pictures up from San Diego, hope you like. Ciao

From England to Los Angeles

26th April 2015, Day 1 of my American Adventure. I have finally decided to blog about my time in America. I thought doing this would be a good idea because all in all it would mean that my time in America will be forever within my reach if I ever want to reminisce about my travels. I've decided to merge two days into one post, this may happen in a few other posts because admittedly there were a couple days where me and my friend Faith (the person I went travelling with) decided to sleep and relax because seriously travelling is tiring.
I was travelling in the US and Canada for 7 weeks I believe, the majority of the time we did it all on our lonesome, but we also took part in two organised tours that took us around a lot of different places that we wouldn't of necessarily have seen in the space that we went and it would have cost a lot more.
I left my lovely bed in England at 4 in the morning on the 26th April to be picked up and driven to London Gatwick at 5am. The longest I had ever been away from my family and house was a week tops, so the fact that I was going away for 7 weeks was a huge deal, my mum even cried;)
I flew with Norwegian Airlines which was a first for me and it was honestly a very good airline with a lot of leg room and the windows were really cool, one of the pictures I have posted on this said post is of the landscape of Greenland and its blue because of the windows, you could like control the lighting in the window which was beyond cool and made my pictures look well good!

I finally arrived in Los Angeles after an 11 hour flight at like 6pm, it took around an hour to get to my hotel which was the Stay On Main Hotel, as soon as we got in we went straight up to our rooms and ordered a Domino's Pizza, by the way Dominos in America is nowhere near as good as Dominos in England, just saying.

27th April, Day 2 of American Adventure.

This was my first full day in L.A, which of course meant my camera had turned itself on in my bag and had run out of battery, so I used my iPhone for the day. Before we came to America we booked a lot of hop on hop off buses so we could get around to a lot of different places. So the day didn't start off great seeing as we had to run for the bus in L.A which is insane because how hot is it there I mean oh my god! I'm from England I like the cold.

We spent the day going to the Hollywood Sign, well looking at it from a telescope, I was not walking all the way up there. We went to the Chinese Theatre where everyone kept trying to sell me music and saying how amazing it was for them to meet someone from Australia. This happened all the time actually, so many Americans thought I was Australian, I don't in the slightest bit sound Australian.
We then drove round Beverley Hills, and went to Santa Monica Beach, where we went on a ferris wheel and then we ultimately realised that we were burnt like tomatoes because we were stupid and didn't put any suncream on! Finally we went to Venice Beach which was my favourite place, think we spent about half an hour watching everyone skateboarding, they were honest to god amazing and good looking:').
We finally decided to go back to the hotel at like 7pm cause jet lag was starting to set in, but then we got lost walking home so it took a lot longer than anticipated, we also found a supermarket called Wallgreens which in future became our favourite place to go for supplies and food!

I honestly didn't intend for this post to be so long but hey ho, anywho thanks for reading, I'm hoping to do more posts on my trip in the future. Hope you like the few pictures I put on here. Ciao.
